Since 1998, the Goyette brothers have been singing about the little fires of everyday life. After a series of podcasts, and in the midst of preparing a new album scheduled for spring 2023, the band is back on stage to bring their indie-rock folk to life, welcome news for both long-time fans and the new audience the band has built up over the past few years.
Mario Goyette and his band, whose characterization pays homage to the sensibilities of Quebec's patenteux, carve out their heartfelt folk, and are joined on stage by Sylvain Goyette, a performer in his own right, who creates a new work of art for each concert: a portable air conditioner, a shovel that melts snow to filter the water and make it drinkable, or a propeller-driven life jacket equipped with a GPS, should you ever get lost at sea. It all depends, but it's always fantastic, and you're never in trouble with the Goyette.
