Calamine's concert is a manifesto of queer irreverence, a festive and flippant trial of hetero-patriarchy and an eco-anxious lament of competing enthusiasm and cynicism. In the face of neo-liberal indecency, personal degrowth invites us to dance to the decay of the world, embrace the intellectual bad faith of the populists and reclaim our status as waste from a perspective of empouvoirement. The therapeutic tools used in her concerts are hysteria and alienation. Calamine is joined on stage by beatmaker Kèthe Magané (guitars and bass), Valérie Lachance-Guillemette (saxophones and vocals) and Arthur Evenard (keyboards).
