Calamine's concert presents itself as a manifesto of queer irreverence, a festive, offhand trial of heteropatriarchy and an eco-anxious lament of competing enthusiasm and cynicism. In the face of neo-liberal indecency, personal degrowth invites us to dance to the decline of the world, embrace the intellectual bad faith of populists and reclaim our status as waste from a perspective of empouvoirement. Hysteria and alienation are the therapeutic tools used in her concerts. Calamine is joined on stage by beatmaker Kèthe Magané (guitars and bass), Valérie Lachance-Guillemette (saxophones and vocals) and Arthur Evenard (keyboards).
