Born in Paris in the mid-90s and raised in Montréal, singer-songwriter thaïs offers a soft, yet bubbly brand of pop music. Crafting an attractive blend of synthetic and ethereal sounds, the young artist, born with the sun in Gemini, raises her voice to sing about melancholy, solitude, and lost love.

A talented and agile instrumentalist, thaïs alternates between piano and guitar, having studied the latter in its classical form at the École de musique Vincent-d'Indy. As an artist, she evolves in a musical universe where delicate arrangements and a distinctive indie sound meet powerful electro grooves. With her gentle, aerial and well-controlled voice, thaïs indulges her penchant for exploration, using emotions and their many nuances as her primary source of inspiration.

Her EP Paradis artificiels, released in October 2020, earned her praise from many national press and radio outlets, both in Canada and in Europe. Thanks to it, thaïs’s name has been featured in Rolling Stone France and Le Devoir, as well as Vogue and Les Inrocks who include her in their music playlists.

In addition to her noteworthy appearances on several festival stages, including Santa Teresa, Phoque OFF and the MURAL Festival, thaïs participated in the 24th edition of the Francouvertes competition. In early 2021, she was signed to Montréal label Bravo musique. Since then, she has performed at the Francos de Montréal and the Festival d'Été de Québec, as well as opening for Coeur de pirate, who has taken her under her wing. In 2023, she was nominated for the “prix Félix-Leclerc de la chanson”.

thaïs launches in October 2022 her first album, Tout est parfait, resulting from the sum of the two EPs, Tout est parfait - acte un and acte deux. The two releases interspersed with a tour in France where her increasingly loyal audience continues to grow.

Everything is perfect, yes. We want to believe it as much as she does.
