Biography
After making a name for herself in early 2021 with her debut EP C'est live, Parazar went on to record a string of collaborations (the singles “Ya Delali” with DJ Moulay and “Or” with OneNessa) and concerts (Distrix festival, Classico festival, Noël dans le parc festival). Since then, the band has gone from strength to strength: signed to Bravo musique, nominated as one of the Révélations Radio-Canada 2023, semi-finalist at the 27th Francouvertes, an opening slot for the proverbial Californian hip-hop trio Cypress Hill at the FEQ, a fiery show on the big stage at the Francos (just before Soolking) and a performance at Osheaga. She also continued to expand internationally, performing 2 times, including on the main stage of the Festival Rose in Toulouse (initiated by rappers BigFlo and Oli).
In autumn 2023, she released her first EP Elle était une fois on the Bravo label. On trap and rai-influenced house prods still signed Fifo, she explores the desire to move forward and succeed, lamenting the people who have abandoned her and whom she no longer trusts, sharing her mic with MCM, MB and the aforementioned OneNessa. New year, new project; the rapper releases a second surprise EP, Monolove, in June 2024 with a collaboration with rapper RYMZ.
Since this release, Parazar has become a truly established artist in Algeria: she launched a song with Adlene, “Dalma”, accumulating over 740,000 views on Youtube. She then went on to release her latest single, “Ghir Hak”, where the video was viewed over 1.8 million times in just 2 weeks. The young rapper was then invited to take part in several radio interviews and to sing at festivals in Algeria. Parazar continues down this hot track with “MAMA (feat. Mok Saib)”, featuring the successful Algerian singer Mok Saib.
