Biography
Naomi is a pop star: with her strong American pop influences, international flair, seductive charisma, and artistic versatility, she knows how to make her presence felt. The multidisciplinary artist embodies a perfect blend of dance, music, and theatre, exploring various facets of her artistic expression. With her penchant for sunny Caribbean beats spiced up with pop, R&B, and house influences, Naomi ignites the dance floor and stage with disarming ease.
Since launching her music career, Naomi has made a lasting impression with catchy tunes such as Pas le temps de jouer (#85 top 100 BDS) and Okay Alright (ft. Mike Clay) (#19 top 100 BDS), which can be heard on WKND and Rouge FM Radio. She also collaborated with Clodelle on Every Baby, the song of the summer in 2023.
Her spellbinding stage presence has also led her to take part in major events such as the MAMMOUTH Gala and to appear in popular web series such as Plaisir coupant and Barbada. She has also been a guest on several podcasts, sharing her artistic universe with her audience. Her self-titled debut album, released in 2022, was hailed by critics and fans alike, confirming her place in the Quebec music scene.
Naomi’s multi-disciplinarity doesn’t stop there. She joined forces with the Advance organization to have an R&B category added to the next ADISQ Gala. She was nominated twice as a Breakthrough Artist and Francophone Artist at the Dynastie Gala and helped young people taking part in the Speech workshops to compose and write songs. Her many collaborations have led her to work with Marie-Mai on her special Marie-Mai immutable special and the Belle et Bum show celebrating the 20th anniversary of Marie-Mai’s career. Naomi has also performed at festivals across Quebec, including the Montreal Francos, opening for Robert Charlebois. To round off such a banner year, she won the Bell Breakthrough Artist Award at the ADISQ Gala in 2023, which earned her a great deal of recognition from the industry and media.
Naomi is currently preparing to shine (and dance) in the spotlight ahead of the summer festivals, with breathtaking performances scheduled across Quebec. She’ll kick off the summer season with a performance at the MAC’s chic spring soirée. The singer, who has released three promising singles in the last year (Hot ex - #78 BDS, Phénomène, and Dalí), is working on new material with a strong visual presentation. She has teamed up with renowned producers and collaborators (Gary Wide, Willy Wonder, Guillaume Doubet) to create a more ambient and refined second album. A committed and exhilarating artist, Naomi controls every aspect of her artistic project, from choreography to styling to musical composition, offering her audience an immersive and unique artistic experience.
