A peaceful, yet brilliant force, Maude Audet has carved out her own individual path in Quebec’s musical landscape. Her music reflects both her bold aspirations and her need for the warm comforts of the day to day. She has graced the world with four studio albums — Nous sommes le feu (2015), Comme une odeur de déclin (2017), Tu ne mourras pas (2020) and Translations (2021).
In 2018, Maude Audet was nominated at the ADISQ gala for Alternative Album of the Year, and she took home the Lucien award for Folk Album of the Year. 2020 brought a new GAMIQ nomination for her latest opus, Tu ne mourras pas, which also made it into the end-of-year music lists of many media.
With her fifth album Il faut partir maintenant released on March 31 2023, Maude Audet boldly expresses herself, ready to face anything that stands in her path. Confident enough to dive into the production with Mathieu Charbonneau, the singer-songwriter develops new sonic dimensions and pushes her own limits. Decidedly 60's, slightly more rock and meticulously orchestrated, the follow-up to the project promises to be greater than ever.

With a precise and ethereal voice that is truly her own, the singer-songwriter and musician delicately unveils her thoughtful and powerful words. Involved in every creative aspect of her project, she has found her unmistakable sound, which combines folk, vintage pop, and subtle psychedelic accents, inspired by the simple joys of home and the love for her people.
The past decade has been marked by stellar achievements and acclaim for Audet, confirming her status as a relevant and enduring creative voice. She has graced the world with three studio albums—Nous sommes le feu (2015), Comme une odeur de déclin (2017), and Tu ne mourras pas (2020). In 2019, she was also given carte blanche by the Coup de cœur francophone festival to put together Le soir aux mille soleils, a special show combining poetry and music. That same year, her single “Ana” led to a spontaneous association with UNICEF Canada. And she continues to shine her light on everyday life, earning accolades and recognition along the way.

As the days of 2021 unfolded like recurring, waking dreams, Maude Audet showed up in new and unexpected ways. After taking advantage of the forced leave brought by the lockdown to unveil Sessions de mai, she made her first foray into the language of Cohen with Translations. This full-length album features adaptations of some of her most noteworthy songs.
