Biography
Singer songwriter and author, Bertrand Belin has released five albums and has also collaborated with many creators for cinema, dance and theater. After Requin (2015) and Littoral (2017), his third novel Grands Carnivores is also published during winter 2019 by Editions P.O.L. During a 140 date tour which crowned his previous album Cap Waller, Bertrand Belin composed the music for 4 feature films (My Life with James Dean, ZouZou, Aurore, Around Luisa) and acted in 3 films (My Life with James Dean, Around Luisa, Antoine Antoine Antoine). He also played Billy the Kid in an opera by Gavin Bryars. Bertrand Belin also wrote and performed the lyrics for “Dimanche”, the single from the latest album Shadow People from the french iconic garage rock band The Limiñanas. In Quebec, Bertrand Belin distinguished himself with enigmatic performances at Les Francos de Montréal in 2011, 2014 and 2017, also taking advantage of this festival to present the scenic version of Cap Waller in a few cities across the province.

More recently, he played Billy the Kid in an opera by Gavin Bryars specially written for the international soprano Claron McFadden and Les Percussions Claviers de Lyon quintet. He also gives readings, and his relationship with literature naturally meant that he was bound to meet the french singer, songwriter and guitarist Rodolphe Burger with whom he has appeared.
Bertrand Belin also wrote and performed the lyrics for “Dimanche”, the single from the latest album Shadow People from the french iconic garage rock band The Limiñanas.
